Eliot Slavens
Born and raised in Alberta, I’ve always felt most at home outdoors. Much of my photography has grown out of early starts, long hikes, and chasing light in the Canadian Rockies. Those mountains continue to shape the way I see—and the photographs I love making.
These days, I’m based in Arizona while studying optometry, trading alpine trails for saguaro forests and discovering a new love for the vast expanse of the desert. The scenery has changed, but I’m still drawn to the same things: beautiful light, a sense of adventure, and moments worth slowing down for.
That same approach carries into my work with families and couples. I want a photo session to feel like time spent together—room to move, laugh, and be yourselves, with guidance when you need it. My goal is to create natural photographs that feel like you, in places that make the experience memorable.
